Shown to everyone, every time. Not because of anything rocky thinks about you.
One sentence, in your words, kept exactly as you write it and handed back when the condition you pick is met. Optional. A gap is the time between one entry and the next; your usual gap is the average of your own.
If the gap runs 3x longer than my usual, then
An if-then plan tied to a specific cue is the most studied way of deciding in advance, which is why it has this shape.
One person, both ways. You send them ten to twenty minutes of text or voice each week, and they do the same for you. Rocky holds the promise. The message goes to them, not here.
Pairing is optional. Until you create an account here, nothing here ever leaves this device and everything else still works. Once paired, what travels to them is whether your weekly message went. Keeping a record is a separate agreement, under You, off until turned on.
One account, and no email, because pairing does not need one. It exists so a person you paired with can be told what you asked them to be told, and so a record can come back to you.
There is no password to reset and no address to send a reset to. The key is the only way back, which is why it is worth putting somewhere you will still have it in a bad month.
That deletes what is kept on the server and ends every pair. What you wrote stays on this device.
Rocky ships pointed at its own project. If you run your own, name it here and nothing will be sent to Rocky's.
Both values, or clear both to go back to Rocky's own.
An agreement, not a setting. The switch is here, with the words it agrees to.
What to weigh: a record of what you wrote during a hard period will exist on a server other people can read. Encryption does not change that; Rocky's operators hold the keys. That is a real disclosure, and it is your decision. With keeping off, the ratio, the rules and the writing all still work, entirely on this device.
You can see what is held, take a copy, correct it, withdraw consent, and have it erased, each a control here, not a request you send. Grievance contact: abhishekvyas02032001@gmail.com.
A separate agreement from storing your record. Off by default, and off does not affect anything else.
A few people who already know each other. Everyone in one can see who else is in it, and nothing else about them.
A few people who already know each other. Everyone in one can see who else is in it, and nothing else about them.
Rocky never suggests who should be in one. There is no function to call and nothing in the database that compares one person to another, which is checked by a test rather than promised here.
You wrote down when you would want someone told. This is the part that tells them. It sends the same words to everyone, every time, and never anything you wrote.
To be reached yourself, say where. Your pair's Rocky uses this, and nothing else does.
What arrives says that you asked to be checked on if you went quiet longer than you decided was alright, and that it has happened. It does not say how you are. Rocky does not know that.
It counts how many registered people you named, never which one and never what you said about them.
All of it, oldest first, with the gap between entries.
Your entries are kept in this browser, on this device, always. If you pair with someone, a server holds who you are paired with and which weeks were kept. If you turn keeping on, that server holds your entries too, readable by whoever operates Rocky and used for research: see "storing your record on the server" for what that does. Clearing browser data deletes what is here regardless.
A list of limits, not of features.
None of the ideas here are original. Three are worth knowing, for what they support and where they stop.
Rocky has not been studied. The above is evidence for the ideas it borrows, which is a weaker claim.
Five methods and a fixed-rule baseline, on simulated records, scored causally, each compared against firing at random at the same volume. Precision is how often an alert landed inside a genuinely hard stretch.
| Method | Precision | Random, same volume |
|---|---|---|
| Quiet divided by your usual gap | 37% | 24% |
| Departure score against your baseline | 26% | 25% |
| Windowed trajectory model | 39% | 26% |
| Trajectory plus word count and naming | 39% | 26% |
| Entropy calibrated thresholds | 36% | 24% |
| A fixed eleven day rule | 19% | 21% |
These are simulated people rather than real ones, which limits what any of it shows. And a browser cannot watch while it is closed, so it notices a quiet stretch when you next open it.
